To facilitate a smooth technology assessment for you and the Risk and Compliance (RAC) team, we have specific requirements that need to be met by the vendor you are considering for your purchase. The university is committed to upholding the principles of HB21-1110 Colorado Laws For Persons With Disabilities to ensure that people with disabilities have equal, available and reliable access to technologies. In compliance with the law, the RAC team will evaluate the vendor’s security and IT accessibility.
Additional information about digital accessibility requirements can be found on the university Digital Accessibility Standards and Resources website.
Please make sure that the vendor has the below forms completed so that they can easily send them to us:
We also request that you inform the vendor that we will be asking for these documents and we would like them to return all documentation to us within 3 to 5 business days.
The RAC team will also send vendors links to fill out and complete a security questionnaire and a digital accessibility questionnaire during the Technology Risk Assessment process.
All applications used to conduct university business must meet the digital accessibility requirements. Please review Vendor Options and Guidelines from Digital Accessibility. Follow the link, and scroll down on the page until you come to the applicable section.
The RAC team will also send vendors links to fill out and complete a security questionnaire and a digital accessibility questionnaire during the Technology Risk Assessment process.
